You will find them in the help links shown on this page. Each is an independent source of help.
These are the only non-commercial outbound links on the whole site. Operator links carry a sponsored marking, but these do not. They are set to nofollow and open in a separate tab on the organisations' own websites. This site receives nothing when you follow them.
Age
Gambling is for adults aged eighteen and over. That restriction is repeated throughout this site, including on the front page.
Habits
- Decide the amount before you start. A limit set in advance is made with a clear head. A limit set mid-session is made under the pull of the last result.
- Treat that money as already spent. If you expect nothing back, a loss costs you nothing you had not already accepted, and a win is simply a bonus.
- Never chase a loss. Each bet is independent, so betting more to recover money only makes the possible loss larger.
- Keep borrowed money out of it. Credit and loans turn entertainment spending into debt with interest, and that pressure pushes you toward chasing.
- Take breaks. Stepping away interrupts the momentum of play. It gives you a moment to check whether you are still enjoying it.
- Involve someone else early. If gambling stops feeling like entertainment, telling someone you trust brings in an outside view before the problem grows.
Limits
Deposit caps, loss caps, reality checks, cooling-off periods and self-exclusion are controls you arrange inside your account at the gambling destination. This site has no account, no form and no server-side application. Nothing published here can switch one of those controls on, check one or enforce one.
